Pressure Is On To Achieve Your Goals-Let’s Release It

Pressure is on. New goals and that fresh blank page are wonderful things and yet the Dragons can have a field day with them. They get all revved up and do leaping belly bumps with each other, pumping their clawed fists and getting you riled up, too, sometimes.

Will Your Dragons Rule You This Year?

When we are having fun or on vacation, we imagine expansive space, time, and energy and may commit to things that aren’t necessarily realistic for our actual lives and schedules. The party-loving and/or overworking Dragons have the home court advantage because they get to pressure you for not setting goals at all or for committing to too much. They even get to shame you if you decide to modify your goals.

Reality Check

Now that the champagne bubbles have all popped and your morning alarm went off for the past day or two, you’re likely mindful of time again. If you haven’t set any goals, big or small, take a look at what has kept you from it. If you have, review them to see if they are too lofty or if they are able to be achieved without raising your blood pressure.

Goals Are Just Right When…

Goals are just right when you have to grow yourself a bit to reach them but not stretch so far that you injure yourself.

Enchanted Breath

So let’s use this week’s Enchanted Breath to kick off our month-long focus on Enchanted Key #1-Mindfulness. Tension may have already crept back into your body, mind, or spirit so shake it off so it doesn’t accumulate. Take a few slow, deep breaths and release and review what’s up with your goals for the new year.

Enchanted Breaths are the “ahh, the haha, and the aha! of life.”
