Be the present. Then you’re a gift, right?

Dear Enchanted Journeyers,

Remember the past.

Plan for the future.

Live in the present.

It’s all we’ve got.

So right here, right now, stop what you’re doing to inhabit the space you’re in. Feel your feet on the floor, your hands resting on your thighs, and the tension in your body that I invite you to melt away with intention. In the present, you may have your shoulders in your ears. Breathe them down and relax them. You may be sad, mad, glad or scared. Breathe into those emotions and choose how you would like to feel right now. Right now…in the present moment. Feel that.

If you didn’t consciously choose your current situation, you do get to choose how to feel and respond to it.

Yay, you.

Let’s savor the enchanted breaths. Deep breath in, hold it at the top, and exhale. Another deep and cleansing, purifying and relaxing breath in, pause it at the top of that mountain, and release. Be mindful of your emotions, your thoughts, your words, then choose happy and relaxed.

Meet the world like that and see what you get back from it.

Enchanted Breaths are the “ahh, the haha and the aha! of life.”
