Banish Stress with Enchanted Breaths
How’s it going so far this year, dear Journeyers?
It’s time for your second enchanted breath of the new year.
Let’s make it a mindful one as we practice using Enchanted Key#1-Mindfulness.
With intention, invite your physical body, your mind, spirit and emotions to release tension and relax.
Breathe in slowly and deeply until you reach the top of that breath and then in a controlled way, exhale with some force until you reach the bottom of that outbreath. Repeat.
Now focus your attention on Gandhi’s words of wisdom.
“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
I invite you to be mindful of your beliefs. Stay present to the Dragon chatter in your head and replace it with positive regard for yourself and others. Be aware of the words that leave your mouth. Stay conscious about everything you do and all that matters to you. You get to choose who and how you are in the world. Rise to the challenge.
