Banish Stress with Enchanted Breaths

Is that you gasping for air, my friend?

Let’s slow it down for a moment.

Inhale deeply. Exhale.

Slowly roll your head around until you stop hearing the sound that bubble wrap makes when you pop it.

Roll in the other direction.

Draw your shoulders toward each other on the front side of your body.

Lift them up toward your ears (they may already be there) and then rotate them back and down.

Do that again.

Relax the muscles in your belly. (No one is looking.) Fill your belly with breath and release.

Swivel your hips around (unless you have no partitions in your office or you’re standing by the picture window). Ah, go ahead and do it, anyway. Then do it again.

Flex and point your feet and rotate your ankles clockwise and then counterclockwise.

Picture yourself in a mountain cabin sipping hot chocolate and watching it snow, splayed out on a warm beach blanket with cool breezes on your skin or walking through crunchy leaves in the fields and woodlands.

Okay. Now carry on and stay enchanted!

Enchanted Breaths are the “ahh, the haha, and the aha! of life.”
