Banish Stress with Enchanted Breaths

You haven’t been breathing fully enough.
Stop what you’re doing and take thirty seconds to breathe.
Begin with a deep breath of fresh, clean air. Exhale.
Take another breath, this one deeper than the first, and then exhale, emptying your lungs of stagnation.

Now imagine yourself as a beautiful winged bird.
Take flight on an in-breath, feet lifting off the ground, soaring upward.
Past treetops and clouds, fly freely, unrestricted.
Look down at any worries or stress you left behind and see them as pin dots.
Catch an updraft and get carried on the wind.

When you’re ready, gently descend back towards the earth, land gently, and continue on with your day.
Still see your worries and stress fit onto the head of a pin.

Enchanted Breaths are the “ahh, the haha and the aha! of life.”
